I always struggle with shopping for Valentine's Day directly after a busy Christmas season. However, during these cold winter months in the Midwest, having small things to look forward to are so important for our mental health. I have made Valentine's Day one of those things to lean into, buy some goodies for the kids, and show my significant other that I appreciate him. There's just something so special about all the pink and red and Valentine's Day parties at the school that really brighten my February.
